Biography

Tim's early life was marked by frequent moves, beginning in Greenport, Long Island, New York, where he was born on March 15th, 1950, as the youngest of four children. He attended the "little red school house" in New Suffolk, Long Island, until his family relocated to Oyster Bay, Long Island.

As a young man, Tim's aspirations lay in the world of cinema, and after graduating from Mississinewa High School in Gas City, Indiana, in 1968, he and a friend hitchhiked to California in pursuit of stardom. However, the draft intervened, and Tim decided to enlist in the Navy, entering the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Illinois.

During his time in the Navy, Tim served on board the USS Lafayette - SSBN 616 until his honorable discharge in 1973. Throughout his naval career, he began his martial arts training at the age of 10 and continued to study under various masters of different forms.

Upon his discharge, Tim opened his first martial arts school in Norwich, Connecticut, in 1973. He trained and assembled a championship demo and tournament team, while still pursuing his acting career. His big break came with the film Final Exam (1981),a spin-off of Halloween (1978),in which he played a "Jason"-like character and choreographed the fight scenes and some stunts.

Tim then moved to the Chicago area, where he opened a second school in Rockford, Illinois, in 1984. He taught martial arts until 2001, during which time he also formed a demo team that worked as a stunt/fight team for several Chicago-based independent films.

In 2001, Tim was invited to Boulder, Colorado, to work at the renowned film studio Three Rivers Film Works. This opportunity allowed him to become involved in several films and television productions, including Animal Planet's Wildlife Wars (2004),in which he starred as "Man Mountain Dean." It was during this period that he met his life partner, co-creator, and co-star Chelsea Bond.

Tim is currently involved in the writing, production, and acting of the Sci-Fi pilot Omega 1: The Praetorian Issue. Additionally, he is an ex-bodyguard and holds degrees in Herpetology and Paleontology.
