Biography

Tim Bryn Smith is a multifaceted creative professional, currently in the final stages of post-production for his debut feature film, "Surrender to It", which is slated for a global release in late 2024.

Prior to embarking on his feature film journey, Tim began his career as an actor, landing roles on various television shows, including ITV, Channel 4, Sky One, and BBC, as well as appearing on stage and radio. One of his notable highlights was working with acclaimed director Andrea Arnold on the Channel 4 series "Coming Up".

In 2006, Tim established his own award-winning production company, Fourmost Films, which has since produced a diverse range of commercial campaigns for prominent brands such as Virgin, Redbull, Barclays, Vauxhall, and Chevrolet. Notably, he directed MOBO-winning artist Mahalia in her first short film, "Respect Me", and produced two more award-winning shorts, "Trust Me" and "Shoolboy", which featured EastEnders star Chris Parker, BAFTA-winning actor Chanel Cresswell, and BET Award-winning musician Wretch32.

In 2014, Tim was recruited to help launch Notts TV, a digital television station that gained a significant audience of over 1.5 million viewers during his tenure. As series producer of "Digital Nation" for BBC iPlayer, he oversaw a production budget of £2.6 million.

In addition to his production work, Tim is also the founder of The Actors Workshop Nottingham & Online, a platform he established in 2010 to support hundreds of actors in building successful careers in the entertainment industry.
