Thymaya, a multifaceted filmmaker based in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, has garnered widespread acclaim for his innovative and captivating documentary feature, Stolen Seas. This remarkable film, praised by the New York Times as "magnificent", has also received glowing reviews from Variety, with the publication noting that its "three years' worth of visits to one of the world's most volatile hot zones" is as thrilling as its content. Notably, Stolen Seas won the esteemed Boccolino Doro at the Locarno Film festival's critics week and boasts an impressive 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
In addition to his work on Stolen Seas, Thymaya co-wrote and produced the independent film Live Cargo, directed by Logan Sandler, which stars Keith Stanfield and Dree Hemingway.
