Theo Davies was born in Tunbridge Wells, England, and received his education at Holmewood House and Tonbridge School, ultimately graduating from the University of Reading with a degree in English, Film, and Drama.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Davies attended the New York Film Academy and relocated to California in 2009, where he currently resides with his wife and two sons.
Davies made his directorial debut in 2012 with the micro-budget independent film '5 Hour Friends', which garnered numerous awards and was distributed domestically by Gravitas Ventures and worldwide by Paramount Pictures.
Seven years later, in 2017, he wrote, directed, and co-produced the biopic 'Wish Man', which tells the story of Frank Shankwitz, the founding father of the 'Make-A-Wish' Foundation. The film premiered in select theaters across North America in June 2019, followed by a wider release on various streaming and VOD platforms in September and a Netflix release in December.
Currently, Davies is working on writing the pilot episode for a six-part limited television series, as well as two feature films. Furthermore, he is the founder of the Southern California Screenplay Competition.
