Terrance Zdunich's journey to fame began in 2008 when he played the fan-favored role of GraveRobber in the science fiction horror film Repo! The Genetic Opera, a project he nurtured for almost a decade, wearing multiple hats as writer, composer, director, producer, and actor across various incarnations. This ambitious endeavor showcased his artistic prowess, featuring his illustrations in the film's animated sequences.
Prior to Repo!, Zdunich had graduated from Otis College of Art and Design with a degree in Illustration, and had also worked as a storyboard artist on numerous notable film, television, and animation projects. In 2009, he embarked on a new illustrated venture, The Molting, a 12-part graphic novel that blended biographical elements and was independently published.
In 2012, Zdunich collaborated with director Darren Lynn Bousman on The Devil's Carnival, a cinematic project that marked his second collaboration with Bousman. He contributed to the film as writer, actor, and co-composer alongside Saar Hendelman. Building on the universe introduced in The Devil's Carnival, Zdunich is currently working on The Devil's Carnival: Alleluia, an expansion of the story.
