Terissa Kelton is a highly acclaimed actress and producer whose impressive body of work has garnered recognition at esteemed international film festivals, including the Austin Film Festival and The Annecy International Film Festival. As the Co-Owner and Executive Vice President at Rehab Entertainment, Kelton collaborates with her producing partner, John W. Hyde, to bring innovative projects to life.
In her most recent endeavor, Kelton developed and produced 20 episodes of the animated series, Harriet the Spy, for AppleTV+, starring the talented Beanie Feldstein and Jane Lynch.
Kelton's development slate is comprised of several exciting projects, including Flight of the Navigator for Disney+, with Bryce Dallas Howard attached to direct; Prophet, based on the popular Rob Liefeld comic book, with Jake Gyllenhaal set to star; and In kids, The Kissing Hand and Lena!, both inspired by beloved children's books.
As an active member of various industry organizations, Kelton is involved with the Hollywood Radio Television Society, the Television Academy (Production Executive and Animation Peer Group),Children's Media Association, and Women in Animation.
Originally from Texas, Kelton began her career in Austin, starring in and producing several independent feature films. A first-generation college student at Texas State University, Kelton's journey to success was marked by determination and perseverance. Growing up in a small Texas town, Kelton is acutely aware of the challenges that come with taking risks and pursuing one's passions.
Through her work alongside talented creators from diverse backgrounds, Kelton aims to spread a powerful message: that it's essential to silence the internal voice that tells you you don't belong.
