Teniola Aladese is a Nigerian actor, producer, and casting director born in Lagos State, Nigeria, as the sixth child of a family of six children. She studied Mass Communication at Covenant University, Ota, and later built a career in TV and film production.
From 2013 to 2015, Teniola worked behind the scenes as a production coordinator on over 30 Africa Magic Original Films and then served as a production coordinator on Africa Magic's television drama series, 'Hush'.
In 2015, Teniola began her acting career, starring in Eneaji Chris EnenG's 'Perfectly Flawed' and then in the TV mini-series, 'This is it', directed by Dolapo 'LowlaDee' Adeleke.
Aladese gained recognition while playing the character, Akweyon on the Africa Magic television drama, 'JEMEJI', and also served as Production Manager on the show. In 2018, she was the Line Producer on the television Drama series 'Forbidden', and continues to serve as Line Producer for IK Osakioduwa's 'Comedy Nites'.
In late 2018, she starred as the protagonist, Lola in Bunmi Ajakaiye's short film, 'Fade', which was selected for the 2019 edition of Nollywood Week in Paris and the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in 2019.
In January 2019, Aladese played the character Halima in the short film, 'Her', which focused on period/menstrual poverty and was directed by Michael 'AmaPsalmist' Akinrogunde.
In May 2019, she starred in the film Déjà Vu alongside Ayoola Ayolola and Baaj Adebule, a film produced by Fojo Media Production that centered around a lady, Sola (Aladese) who discovers she's been infected with HIV from her partner, who she thought to be committed.
Aladese gained critical acclaim for her role as the villain Folashade FK Kuku, on the television drama series, Unbroken, and also plays the character, Lara in the web series, 'Lara of Lagos'. Other acting credits include Victor Sanchez Aghahowa's webseries 'Flat 3B', Onboard to love, Déjà Vu, 'Material Girl', 'Why am I angry?', and 'Backseat'.
Throughout her career, Teniola has also served as a casting director and consultant on a number of productions. In her spare time, Teniola enjoys drawing, painting, singing, dancing, and trying out exotic food.
