Telci Nhi Huynh was born on January 16, 2006, in Austin, Texas, to a diverse family consisting of her father, Luan Huynh, of Chinese descent, and her mother, Erica Trevino, of Spanish (Spain) descent. She has two younger siblings, a brother named Taye and a sister named Taeli.
As a young child, Telci was fascinated by the people on television and decided at the age of four that she wanted to become an actress. Her parents enrolled her in a theater program, where she quickly discovered her natural talent. She landed leading roles in local productions, including Elsa in Frozen (2011),Sandy in Grease (2012),and Annie in Annie (2013).
Telci has also continued to work on traditional stages, starring in a production called Domesticated (2019) as both the narrator and character Cassidy, who was adopted into a dysfunctional family.
In addition to her stage work, Telci has appeared in various television shows, including Amazon's Modern Love, season 2 of the anthology series, and guest star roles on CBS's God Friended Me, NBC's Reverie, Netflix's Team Kaylie, Disney's Just Roll with it, and Coop & Cami Ask the World. She has also appeared in a short film, Guardian Angel, and has been seen in various commercials and print ads.
Telci is a passionate singer who has received professional vocal training. She enjoys playing volleyball, running cross-country, snowboarding, long boarding, and baking in her free time. Telci is also developing her own skin care line, using all natural ingredients, and is an avid animal lover.
