Ted Sterner, a multifaceted individual with a wide range of expertise, is a Los Angeles-based actor, model, author, and CEO of Sterner Brands, LLC, a company that specializes in customized jewelry and accessories for the entertainment industry. As a former Executive Producer of "The Eclectic Beauty Hunter", Ted has had a diverse career in the entertainment industry.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Ted's first foray into acting was during his high school days, where he worked as a stage hand and all-around theater employee at the Paramount Theater in Springfield, MA, under the guidance of Roger Stevens, a renowned theater manager from Broadway.
Ted's entry into the film industry began in 2014, when he filled a vacancy as a Production Sound Recordist for a film through an internship his daughter secured with G&G Media in Foster, RI. This experience reignited his passion for acting, prompting him to enroll in basic acting classes in Boston under the tutelage of Mr. Bates Wilder, a well-known acting teacher with C.P. Casting and Emerson College.
Ted has been fortunate to have a supportive network of friends, investors, and professional actors, including Atlanta-based actor Rodney Rowland, who he occasionally coaches with. He attributes his positive growth, wonderful opportunities, and great successes to this network, stating that without them, he would not have achieved his forward momentum.
In addition to his acting and coaching endeavors, Ted is the owner of Sterner Brands LLC, which encompasses two main entities: Sterner Coaching, which focuses on actor's pragmatics and behavioral standards for the entertainment and modeling industry, and The Actor's Brand "Ted Sterner", which teaches individuals how to embody the role of a "big man" or "high roller" on set.
Ted's versatility is further demonstrated by his ability to travel the US in various capacities, including as an actor, production assistant, and personal assistant to film industry professionals when needed.
