Biography

Ted Geoghegan, a skilled screenwriter, pursued his passion for English literature at The University of Montana in Missoula, Montana, where he refined his writing abilities under the guidance of renowned actor Carroll O'Connor and earned a degree in English Education with a focus on the works of the illustrious William Shakespeare.

As his career progressed, Geoghegan collaborated with German director Andreas Schnaas on his first English-language film, Demonium, which was released in 2001. He subsequently wrote numerous genre films in both Europe and the United States. In 2007, he founded his own independent production company, Starving Kappa Pictures, producing one short film and three features under its banner.

In 2013, Geoghegan co-wrote the Korean blockbuster The Berlin File, and two years later, he made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed We Are Still Here. Throughout his career, Ted has been a prolific writer, penning articles about genre films for various online and print publications, and has been frequently featured in the media as an expert on slasher and exploitation cinema.
