Tchavdar Georgiev is an acclaimed filmmaker with a diverse range of credits to his name. As an Emmy-winning editor and member of the American Cinema Editors, he has worked on numerous documentaries and films that have garnered critical acclaim and awards.
Georgiev's notable credits include writing, producing, and directing the Emmy-nominated PBS Independent Lens documentary "The Desert of Forbidden Art," which won the Cine Golden Eagle Award and was broadcasted worldwide. He also edited the Emmy-nominated HBO documentary "Valentine Road" and the Cinema Eye Honors Awarded documentary "Finders Keepers," both of which premiered at Sundance.
In addition to his work on documentaries, Georgiev has also edited several narrative films, including the feature thriller "Nevsky Prospect" for Amazon Studios and the award-winning documentary "Campesino." He has also produced commercials for various clients, including Adobe, Cisco, NASA, and TELE2 Mobile Europe.
