Bhattacharya, a Mexican American individual, embarked on her journey in Washington State, where she spent her formative years. Her academic pursuits led her to the esteemed Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, where she successfully completed the acting conservatory program.
Notably, Bhattacharya, along with her creative collaborator Ali Lavenol, has the distinction of being alumni of several prestigious writing programs. These include the WGA's Showrunner Training Program, which she completed in 2023, as well as the Fox Writers Initiative Writing Program in 2010 and the NBC Writer's On The Verge program in 2011.
