Biography

Tất Bình, a renowned Vietnamese actor and director, was born on August 16, 1949, in the capital city of Hanoi. Prior to embarking on a career in film, he gained valuable experience as a theater actor and voice actor. His first notable role on the big screen was as inspector Phương in the 1981 film "The Last Hope", directed by Trần Phương.

Tất Bình's subsequent collaboration with Trần Phương resulted in the co-directed film "One Who Looks for a Forgotten Past", released in 1992. He then went on to direct the television feature "The Notebook of Life" in 1994. In 1998, he made significant strides in the film industry by co-producing the Vietnamese-Russian film "Moon on Foreign Land", a groundbreaking project that focused on the lives of Vietnamese people living and working abroad, marking the first Vietnamese film to tackle this theme.

Tất Bình's impressive body of work continued to grow, with the release of "The Backstage Slap" in 2002, which became one of the two Vietnamese entries into the 47th Asia-Pacific Film Festival. Throughout the years, he has remained an active and prominent figure in the Vietnamese film industry, continuing to act and direct in various projects.
