Tamas Menyhart was born on September 29, 1982, in Budapest, Hungary, but grew up in Belgium. At the tender age of 11, the iconic movie Bloodsport (1988) starring the legendary Jean-Claude Van Damme sparked his passion for martial arts and acting in Hollywood. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of his remarkable journey, as he started to dedicate himself to lifting weights and studying various martial arts disciplines.
With over 20 years of experience, Tamas is a highly skilled and accomplished black belt martial artist, trained by European and world champions in a range of styles, including full contact, kickboxing, Thai boxing, Kenpo-Jujitsu, taekwondo, and aikido. He also takes pride in performing his own stunts and choreographing his fight scenes, showcasing his exceptional physical abilities.
Fluent in four languages, Tamas speaks French, Hungarian, and English with ease, and has a basic understanding of Spanish. At just 18 years old, he took a bold step by moving to the United States with limited financial resources but an unwavering determination to succeed as an actor.
While working multiple jobs and training six days a week, three hours a day, Tamas remained committed to his goals and soon became an active presence in the entertainment industry. To hone his acting skills, he enrolled in acting classes four times a week, eager to diversify his talents and take on a wide range of roles, including drama, comedy, romance, science fiction, and his specialty, action-martial arts.
