Lee Tae-min, professionally known as Taemin, is a multifaceted South Korean artist who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. At the tender age of 14, he debuted as a member of the renowned K-Pop group SHINee in May 2008, earning him the prestigious title of "Idol's Idol" due to his immense success and artistic influence.
Prior to his music career, Taemin ventured into acting in 2009, making his debut in the MBC comedy series Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun, where he played the role of Junsu. This marked the beginning of his foray into the world of acting.
In 2014, Taemin embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album Ace and its title track Danger. His solo endeavors continued to gain momentum, and in July 2016, he made his solo debut in Japan with the release of his second extended play, Sayonara Hitori.
