Le Touzel was born in London to a prominent family with ancestral ties to the Channel Islands, specifically Jersey. From a young age, she demonstrated a passion for acting, which led her to enroll in a reputable Stage School. Her early television appearances included a notable role as Fanny Price in a 1983 adaptation of Jane Austen's 'Mansfield Park'.
However, it was a commercial for Heineken lager that cemented her status as a cult television icon. In this memorable advertisement, Le Touzel portrayed an upper-class girl being tutored by Bryan Pringle in a parody of the classic musical 'My Fair Lady'. The humorous twist came when she finally mastered the cockney accent after drinking a can of Heineken, proclaiming that "the wa'er in Majjawca don't taste like wot i' ough'a".
Le Touzel has been married to actor Owen Teale since 2001 and resides with their two children in the picturesque neighborhood of Telegraph Hill, London. In 2008, she made a triumphant return to the West End stage alongside Kenneth Branagh in his critically acclaimed revival of Anton Chekhov's 'Ivanov'.
