Born in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Sydney embarked on a remarkable journey that would soon take her to the sun-kissed streets of Los Angeles. It was here that she discovered her passion for music, and her talents as a lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist soon found her performing and writing for various bands.
Throughout her illustrious career, Sydney has had the privilege of contributing her unique voice to a wide range of projects, including feature films produced by the renowned Oliver Stone, as well as national commercials for prominent brands such as MCI. Her versatility as an artist has allowed her to explore diverse styles, from the infectious rhythms of World Beat to the catchy hooks of Pop and Alternative.
Sydney currently resides in the eclectic city of Austin, Texas, where she shares her life with her loving husband, Pat Hazell. Her creative endeavors have extended beyond music, as she has lent her voice to several children's audio books, and continues to craft new material for future recordings and performances.
Beyond her music, Sydney has also made a name for herself in the world of television, appearing in the ABC Family drama, The Lying Game, and co-starring alongside the talented Dennis Quaid in the suspenseful horror film, Beneath the Darkness.
