Person Biography:
Sybille was born in January 1979 on the German-French border in Neunkirchen / Saar. At the age of three, she began her training in ballet at the Royal Academy of Dancing in Munich, where she spent the next 16 years honing her skills and gaining her first stage performances. She started attending an elementary school in Hamburg at the age of six, where she made her debut on the catwalk for Oillily, as her family lived between two homes in the North and South of Germany at the time.
During this period, she was also a part of her school's theater group, performing alongside her ballet exams. At the age of 17, Sybille started her professional modeling career with a campaign for Gai Mattiolo. She then went on to live and work between Paris, New York, Milan, and London, modeling for renowned designers such as Stella McCartney, Zac Posen, Jil Sander, Renzo Rossi (Diesel),and photographers like Rankin, Mario Testino, and Stuart Shining.
Sybille's acting career began with various international television commercials, including the recent futuristic 'Spec-Savers' ad. She then transitioned to film acting in 2003, when she was cast in the pilot-movie for the film Joy Division. She co-starred in the feature film production, which was released two years later. In 2001, Sybille trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, specializing in Shakespeare and contemporary acting techniques.
She then went on to study the Meissner technique and received voice coaching from Julia Wilson Dickenson. Sybille is also skilled in the Wing-Chung martial art and has a background in yoga, having started taking classes in 2000 and completing the Silvananda Teacher Training course in 2006. Additionally, she has a certificate in wholistic healing based on Chinese practices from the College of Natural Nutrition at Regents College, London.
