Suteara Vaughn, born Suteara Vathanasombat, is a Thai-American actress and producer who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was raised by her mother in Whittier, California, where she developed a passion for acting at a young age.
Vaughn's early start in acting began when she was just seven years old, performing in school plays and continuing her passion at St. Bruno's School in Whittier. She went on to earn an associate's degree in Theatre Arts from Pasadena City College, a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from Cal State Fullerton, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Fine Arts in Television, Film, and Theatre at Cal State LA.
Before fully committing to acting, Vaughn traveled the world, worked as a chef, and earned a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She also performed and recorded with a rock band and worked behind the scenes as a production assistant in both television and film.
Vaughn's big break came when she landed a role in a Mariah Carey music video, leading to her television debut in HBO's hit series "Entourage." She also starred in the web series "Boys Before Friends" as Chloe James, a boutique owner and advocate for empowering women, where she also served as associate producer and casting associate.
In addition to her acting work, Vaughn has also worked on the production side of things, serving as an assistant producer and music supervisor for the TV documentary series "Clubbin'," and assistant producer on both "Adolescence" and "Deserted." Her additional film credits include "Positive," which addresses HIV issues, "The Lighter Journey," "Kidnapping Terry," "The Pro," "The Black," and the feature drama "Love Sick Diaries."
