MS Morrall is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of accomplishments in both the creative and scientific fields. As a writer, they have penned feature film screenplays for several films, including Property of the State, Les O'iles Savages, Puckoon, The Brylcreem Boys, and The Big Freeze.
In addition to their work in feature films, MS Morrall has also ventured into documentary filmmaking, serving as both writer and director of the 60-minute documentary Past into Present, produced in association with Opix Films, UK.
Before pursuing a career in the arts, MS Morrall had a strong foundation in science, earning a BSc in Zoology-Physiology from Concordia University, Montreal, followed by a Masters degree in Marine Science from McGill University, Canada. They then went on to earn a Doctorate in Electron-microscopy from Imperial College, London, UK.
MS Morrall's scientific background has led to the publication of several science abstracts and research papers in prominent international science journals, including the New York Academy of Science, Biosystems, The Journal of Cell Science, and Cryptogami Algol Publications.
As an author, MS Morrall has written two books: Travelling Backwards, a young woman's journey to Florida in 1933, and The Equation of Time, a prospector's search for gold in Canada during the Red Lake Gold Rush years 1930-1939.
