Sir Steven Geoffrey Redgrave is a retired British rower who has achieved unparalleled success in his illustrious career, winning a staggering number of gold medals at the highest level.

Redgrave's impressive medal count includes five consecutive gold medals at the Olympic Games, a feat he accomplished from 1984 to 2000. Additionally, he has won three Commonwealth Games gold medals and an impressive nine World Rowing Championships golds.

Regarded as one of Britain's greatest-ever Olympians, Redgrave is not only the most successful male rower in Olympic history but also the only man to have won gold medals at five Olympic Games in an endurance sport.
