Steven Michael Broad, a renowned actor, was born in London, England, to Elizabeth Jackson, a cleaner, and James Broad, a builder. He began his acting journey in late 2015, enrolling in three acting schools to gain a well-rounded academic acting experience. In 2017, he self-submitted for LAMDA exams and passed with distinctions. This achievement marked a significant milestone in his career, and he further solidified his skills at Guildhall in 2018.
As a member of three repertory theatres, Broad has had the opportunity to hone his craft and take on various roles. He is also a co-organiser of the Write Here Write Now festival, where he was a finalist in 2018. His impressive acting skills have earned him featured roles in several films, including The Accidental Spy, Southsides Most Wanted, and Just 13, which will be showcased at the Marche Du Film in Cannes 2018.
In addition to his film work, Broad has appeared in eight stage productions this year, with three more in rehearsals. His dedication to his craft is evident in his consistent work in both film and theatre.
When not acting, Broad enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married since 1980 and has two sons and two grandchildren. He often takes breaks from work to relax on his boat in Chelsea or at the family farm in Cambridge.
Broad is also a motorcycle enthusiast and has toured the world on his bike. The Alps are one of his favorite locations to ride. He has also authored two books on the acquisition of data for financial markets and is currently working on his third book, which chronicles his motorcycle adventures.
