Steve Boeddeker is a renowned three-time Oscar nominee and Emmy Award-winning Sound Designer and Re-recording Mixer, currently based in San Francisco.
Throughout his illustrious career, Boeddeker has had the privilege of working on numerous projects across the globe, including London, New York City, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Boeddeker's journey in the film industry began with his first feature film project, the thriller SE7EN, directed by the acclaimed David Fincher. Prior to entering the world of movie sound design and music, Boeddeker pursued his passion for computer engineering and electronic/computer music, earning his degree from the University of California, San Diego and the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1988.
Since then, Boeddeker has had the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of esteemed directors, including Ryan Coogler, Tim Burton, JC Chandor, Steven Spielberg, Chris Columbus, William Friedkin, Robert Redford, and many more.
