Joseph Stephen Meadows, also known as Steve, is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. With a career spanning over three decades, Steve has worn many hats, including screenwriter, cinematographer, and performer.
Born in Georgia, Steve grew up with a passion for football, playing for the Georgia Bulldogs. He then served in the Marine Corps and went on to receive his Graduate Teaching Credential at the University of California. Before entering the entertainment industry, Steve began his architectural practice in 1975 and taught architecture and industrial design at several renowned institutions, including San Francisco State University, U.C. Berkeley, and the Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design.
Steve's architectural background led him to invent the Parabounce, a revolutionary product that was recognized by Popular Mechanics as one of the world's 12 most innovative products. He holds three U.S. Utility Patents for his invention.
In addition to his architectural and entertainment pursuits, Steve is also a philanthropist. He volunteers in the ER at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and has worked as a volunteer medical worker and firefighter in Peru and a disaster relief volunteer in Sri Lanka after the Tsunami.
Steve's company, One Giant Leap, donates all profits to children's causes, and he has been recognized for his humanitarian efforts. He was selected to "Who's Who" in 2007 and resides in Venice, California, with his three children.
