Steve Austin is a multifaceted individual, boasting an impressive range of accomplishments in various fields. Born in Novato, California in May 1963, he was raised in Petaluma, California, where he graduated from Casa Grande High School in 1981.
Steve's professional journey began in the United States Air Force, where he served for 22 years, from August 1981 to May 2003, initially as a Security Forces member and later as a Training Systems Specialist. He retired as a Master Sergeant (E-7) and went on to work for a defense contractor at Headquarters North American Aerospace Defense Command-United States Northern Command from 2003-2010. Following this, he transitioned to a government civilian job from 2010-2013.
In 2013, Steve made a significant decision, choosing to leave his "day job life" behind and pursue his passion for acting. He spent eight years studying film acting with Paul Neal Rohrer, after which he was offered the opportunity to franchise his own acting coach business as a full partner with Paul Neal Rohrer.
As an actor, Steve has amassed an impressive resume, with over 200 commercial and industrial projects to his credit, as well as hundreds of voiceovers. He has also had the privilege of serving as the arena announcer for the United States Air Force Academy's Men's and Women's basketball games from 2001-2013.
Today, Steve is a full-time on-camera acting coach, actor, and voice talent based in Colorado Springs, CO. He is married to Dana Austin, whom he met in October 1983, and they have two adult children, Mark and Laura.
