Biography

Stephen Dixon was born on October 19, 1973, in Ocilla, Georgia, and grew up in Fitzgerald, Georgia, where he graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1993. Prior to his formal education, Dixon pursued his passion for music by playing in local bands and performing at small venues in Florida.

In 1995, Dixon enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and underwent training at Parris Island and Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He then served at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia, for seven years, during which he received multiple meritorious promotions and medals, and was selected as Marine of the Year.

Following the September 11 attacks, Dixon was deployed to Iraq with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, serving in the Babil Province and the "Triangle of Death." He was part of a special operations platoon that conducted Counter Mortar patrols around Forward Operating Base Kalsu, and was awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal for Combat Operations.

After returning to the United States, Dixon was transferred to an infantry unit, 1st Battalion, 6th Marines, where he served as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant and Infantry Platoon Commander during his second deployment to Iraq, this time in Ramadi. He was awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal with the Combat "V" for his heroic actions.

During his deployments, Dixon taught himself how to read, write, and speak Arabic, which led to his attendance of the Arabic Linguist Course at Monterey, California. Upon graduation, he was deployed to Afghanistan, where he worked as an Embedded Cultural Advisor.

In addition to his military service, Dixon has also pursued a career in the entertainment industry. He met filmmaker Joseph Lavender on the set of the movie "Exit 101" and has since worked with him on multiple projects, including producing three of his films. Dixon has also acted in several movies, including "The Legend of Seven Toe Maggie" and "Iron Man 3," where he had the opportunity to work alongside Robert Downey Jr.

Dixon continues to act and produce an average of 30 films annually, with his latest roles including a series of five films alongside Bruce Willis, Timothy Murphy, and Johnny Messner.
