Stephanie Swift embarked on her illustrious film career seven years ago with D'Ambro Productions' "The Painted", portraying the terrifying and abusive mother, Mrs. Pomeroy.
Since 2016, she has amassed an impressive array of credits, including 35 short films and 14 feature films. Some of her notable roles include Dr. Brady in the Cineworx film "Massacre Academy", Sadie in the 2021 Cleveland 48 HFP film "Lingerithm", which won six awards including Best Film, and Sandra in the award-winning 2021 Best Scream Queen 48 HFP Horror and Sci-Fi film "Hasenpfeffer" by Shadowframe Productions.
In 2021, she portrayed special agent Flynn in the found footage film "Red Woods" by On Beat Productions and will appear in the feature film "Treaters" as the Matriarch, as well as in the Star Wars fan film "The Fallen Apprentice" as Master Elanor Arranda in 2023. She is also proud to have performed as Janie in "Macabre Mountain", alongside Xander Goldman, Felissa Rose, and Dave Sheridan.
Before transitioning to film and voice-over work, Stephanie Swift had a rich background in theatre, beginning at the age of 10 with Musical Theatre Guild's production of "Oliver", where she played the role of Charlotte, the loud-mouthed British brat.
She went on to attend Chatham College in Pittsburgh, where she starred in main stage productions such as "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "A Christmas Carol". In addition to theatre, Stephanie studied dance, including tap, ballet, jazz, and gymnastics at Lee's School of Dance, as well as private voice lessons under Dr. Peggy Ross-Mehl.
Stephanie's extensive local theatrical performance credits include The New Olde Bank Theatre, McKeesport Little Theatre, Apple Hill Playhouse, Butler Little Theatre, Poor Yorick's Players, American Performing Arts Company, and the Point Park Cinema Arts venue. Her dream of playing Mary Hatch in "It's a Wonderful Life; The Radio Play" was finally realized at the Theatre Factory.
In 2016, Stephanie made the transition to film and voice-over work, and has since accumulated over 40 film voice-overs and industrials to her credit. She is married to fellow actor and soulmate, Rick Dutrow, and is represented by Heyman Talent Group in Columbus and The Talent Group in Pittsburgh.
