Stephanie Skinner, a native of the Midwestern/Great Lakes Region of the United States, has been captivated by the art of acting for over 18 years. Her journey in the entertainment industry began with a small role in a community theatre production, which sparked a passion that has only grown stronger with time.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has had the opportunity to perform in a diverse range of projects, including over 20 independent and/or student films, 16 theatre productions, and improv/sketch comedy for the web with the group Funny Bones. Her comedic talents have always been a driving force behind her work, but she has also been making a name for herself in dramatic roles, showcasing her impressive range as an actress.
Stephanie has honed her craft at Act One Studios in Chicago, where she has studied acting, voice over technique, and improv. Her impressive resume boasts a number of notable roles, including Aunt Miriam in the superhero parody film series "Adventures of the FatBat" and Ursa in the same series. In addition to her film work, Stephanie has also lent her voice to three audio books, including "Too Quiet in Brooklyn" and "Missing Brandy," both written by Susan Russo Anderson, as well as the children's book "Dalia Reborn: The Never Ending Adventures of Cloud and Penelope, Volume 2."
Prior to her acting career, Stephanie explored her creative side through dance, taking classes and performing in recitals locally. Although she hasn't danced in several years, it remains a cherished part of her background and she hopes to revisit her love of dance someday.
In her personal life, Stephanie is married to author Timothy Skinner and shares her home with her lovable dog, Inky.
