Chloe Taylor, also known as Stephanie Morgan, is a talented individual who wears many hats as a screen actor, voice actor, and singer. Born in Iowa, she had a nomadic childhood, moving to nine different houses, apartments, and trailers across four states, including New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas.
Chloe's academic background is impressive, as she graduated summa cum laude from Trinity University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She then moved to Asheville, North Carolina, where she discovered her passion for songwriting and performing. After completing a two-year stint as a wilderness counselor for troubled teens, she earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
During her time in Asheville, Chloe worked in adoptions while simultaneously pursuing her music career, playing shows and slowly building a following. At the age of 31, she took the bold step of quitting her day job to focus on her indie pop band, Stephaniesid. The band's song "Hey Hey Hey" has gained over a million streams on Spotify, with placements in Showtime's Nurse Jackie and Sony Playstation's Until Dawn.
As Chloe's music career gained momentum, she eventually took a break to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an actor. She attended acting school, which opened up new creative avenues for her. She began landing roles in indie films, such as Lost Colony and Beulah Land, before transitioning to voiceover work for organizations like Greenpeace and UNICEF USA.
Chloe's voice acting career took off, with roles in projects like The Hacker Chronicles and The Entropy Centre. In 2019, she relocated to Los Angeles, traveling back and forth to Asheville during the pandemic. However, in 2023, she decided to consolidate her life in Asheville, where she now has an all-improvisational band called Pink Mercury and a thriving voice acting and voiceover career as Chloe Taylor.
Chloe describes herself as a shapeshifter, spiritual explorer, and kickass gardener. She is open to screen roles and continues to explore her creative potential in various mediums.
