Stephanie grew up in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, where she had the privilege of studying acting with her parents, renowned instructors Peggy Feury and William Traylor, at their esteemed school and theatre, The Loft Studio. During her time there, she had the opportunity to learn from some of Hollywood's most accomplished actors, including the talented Meg Ryan, Sean Penn, Nicolas Cage, and Eric Stoltz, among many others.
As she transitioned to the East Coast, Stephanie attended the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre. Her academic journey continued under the guidance of the legendary Elaine Aiken, as she began to build a extensive theatre career.
In the 1990s, Stephanie returned to her hometown of Los Angeles and landed the role of "Roberta" in John Patrick Shanley's critically acclaimed play, "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea". Her outstanding performance earned her a Critic's Choice Award, marking a significant milestone in her acting career. She continued to thrive in the film and television industry, taking on various projects and solidifying her reputation as a talented actress.
In 1995, Stephanie followed in the footsteps of her parents and began teaching, sharing her knowledge and expertise with aspiring actors. In December 2002, she opened The Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre, where she currently teaches while concurrently pursuing her acting career.
In June 2004, The Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre premiered its inaugural production, which received sold-out performances, cementing the theatre's reputation as a hub for exceptional artistic expression.
