Steffen Dziczek, professionally pronounced as "d-check", is a renowned figure in the entertainment industry, having made significant contributions to notable films such as La La Land (2016),Why Him? (2016),and Alex Cross (2012).
Born to Judith (Green) and Thomas Dziczek, Steffen is their sole offspring. He pursued higher education at Henry Ford Community College and Eastern Michigan University, where he honed his skills in theater and literature.
In the year 2006, Steffen auditioned for and successfully became an understudy cast member of Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theater in Chelsea, Michigan. He notably appeared in the stage play The Poetry of Pizza during his tenure with the theater company.
Before transitioning to a full-time acting career, Steffen played a pivotal role in the Detroit acting community as a stand-in and assistant director. As an actor, he took on the lead role of Carter Wells in the independent thriller Pursuit of a Legend (2010),followed by notable performances in Alleged (2010),The Giant Mechanical Man (2012),and Alex Cross (2012).
