Stefanie's journey began in Evanston, Illinois, where she was born to Ukrainian and Moldovian immigrant parents. Her early years were marked by a unique cultural experience, as she only spoke Russian until the age of six. At eight years old, Stefanie and her mother, Slava, made a significant move to Florida, where she would embark on a new chapter of her life.
In Florida, Stefanie joined a children's theatre group, which proved to be a valuable opportunity to improve her English language skills. As she grew older, she continued to pursue her passion for the performing arts, participating in school and community plays, and even writing and performing her own comedy sketches throughout high school.
At the age of 18, Stefanie took the bold step of moving to Tel Aviv, Israel, to attend college. During her time in Tel Aviv, she remained actively involved in the local arts scene, joining the Tel Aviv Improv Group and honing her improvisational skills. In addition to her academic pursuits, Stefanie worked in a variety of roles, including dance and fitness instructor, preschool assistant, member of a salsa dance troupe, and hostess.
Stefanie also dedicated her Sundays to interning at Villa Matrix, a rehabilitation center in a Tel Aviv suburb that specializes in treating various addictions. This experience not only broadened her understanding of the importance of addiction treatment but also deepened her empathy for those affected by these issues.
Today, Stefanie is a multilingual individual, fluent in four languages: English, Russian, Hebrew, and Spanish. She continues to write and perform her own sketches, which often incorporate impressions, mockumentaries, and short-form content, and shares them on her social media platforms. Stefanie's passion for dance is evident in her training in ballroom, contemporary, salsa, and belly dance styles.
In her free time, Stefanie enjoys writing in the third person, a unique quirk that reflects her creative and playful personality. Her life is a testament to the power of following one's passions and embracing new experiences, and she continues to inspire others with her enthusiasm and dedication to her craft.
