Stefanie Davis was born into a military family, which led to her experiencing a unique upbringing, as she had the opportunity to live in four different states before the age of five. During this time, her father was often away serving overseas, and it was during this period that her mother and grandmothers would capture her singing and interacting with her two younger sisters, Ashlee and Samantha, on videotape.
As Stefanie entered junior high school, she discovered her passion for the stage, earning the lead role in the production of "Annie, Jr." This marked the beginning of her journey in the performing arts, as she went on to participate in various singing talent competitions, plays, and musicals in her hometown of Missouri. However, after graduating from high school, Stefanie put her performing arts dreams on hold to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance/Banking.
In the fall of 2013, Stefanie relocated from Kansas City to Tampa, Florida, due to her struggles with chronic migraines, which had become overwhelming. She moved in with her parents and began attending acting classes, during which she rediscovered her love for performing and returned to her first passion.
In 2015, Stefanie began to explore her creative side behind the camera, taking on roles as a writer, director, and producer. Her short films, including "Migraine Hell," "Speed Dating," and "BS Meeting," received glowing reviews. In the winter of 2017, Stefanie was awarded Producer of the Year at the Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival and scored the winning Best Film at the Creature Feature Competition that year.
In 2018, Stefanie began working on feature films, debuting with "Hot Mess In A Wedding Dress." This film showcases her ability to tell a compelling story even with a micro budget. Going forward, Stefanie plans to focus on feature films, episodic content, and advocating for more representation of women behind the camera, as well as telling stories featuring women.
