Stanislav Govorukhin, a renowned director and writer, was born on March 29, 1936, in the Russian city of Berezniki, which was then part of the Russian SFSR, a constituent republic of the Soviet Union. Today, Berezniki is located in the Perm Krai region of Russia.
Throughout his illustrious career, Govorukhin made a lasting impact in the world of film, leaving behind a legacy of iconic works such as "The End of a Beautiful Epoch" (2015),"The Rifleman of the Voroshilov Regiment" (1999),and "Bless the Woman" (2003).
