Stacy Arnell, a dynamic and driven individual, hails from the vibrant city of Houston, Texas. With an unwavering passion for her craft, she embarked on her journey in the entertainment industry, fueled by her intense energy and perfectionism. After graduating from Jack Yates Sr. High School in Houston, Stacy attended Columbia College in Chicago, where she excelled in Broadcast Journalism.
Following the wise words of Horace Greeley, "go west," Stacy relocated to Los Angeles, California, and promptly began to secure roles in the competitive film and television industry. Her impressive resume boasts feature film credits in blockbusters such as "Deep Cover," "The Great White Hype," "Menace II Society," and "Cutthroat Alley," alongside renowned actors like Laurence Fishburne, L. Jackson, Damon Wayans, Bill Duke, and Charles S. Dutton.
Stacy has also had the privilege of working with some of Hollywood's most prominent actors, including Jamie Foxx, Martin Lawrence, David Caruso, Swoosie Kurtz, and Sela Ward. In addition to her work in film, she has made notable appearances on television shows such as "Cold Case," "Strong Medicine," "The Practice," "Alley McBeal," "The Jamie Foxx Show," "ER," and "Boston Public."
Stacy's most recent endeavors include co-starring in the comedy "Drillbit Taylor," which is set to be released in March 2008. She has also made her mark in the world of theater, debuting her one-woman show "Chain" at the Santa Monica Playhouse in October 2011. As a recurring character on the hit Showtime series "Ray Donovan," alongside Jon Voight and Liev Schreiber, Stacy continues to hone her craft while working on her second one-woman show, "Voices In My Head." In 2015, she returned to the playhouse in the highly anticipated play "Father, Father," taking on the role of Samantha "Sammie Lawson," as written and directed by Reggie Cook.
