Stacy Abalogun is a renowned British actress, who earned her prestigious degree from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).
Born in Manchester, England, Stacy's multicultural heritage played a significant role in shaping her early life, with her father hailing from Nigeria and her mother being English. Her grandmother, in particular, served as a catalyst for her interest in the performing arts, encouraging Stacy to take her first dance classes at the tender age of three in Manchester.
In 2003, Stacy made a significant breakthrough in her television career by starring as Louise in the BBC series "Burn it". This marked the beginning of a successful journey for the talented actress. She later pursued her passion for dance by training at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance and further honed her skills by earning a Master's degree in choreography from Trinity Laban.
Throughout her illustrious career, Stacy has had the privilege of performing on prestigious stages, including The Royal Opera House and Shakespeare's Globe, where she starred in "As you like it" in 2019. Her impressive repertoire also includes performances at The Royal Court, featuring in "Poet in da corner". In addition to her stage work, Stacy has also made a successful transition to film, with notable roles in "Death on the Nile" alongside Kenneth Branagh in 2020, "Sandman" in 2021, "Blue Jean" feature film in 2022, "Emmerdale" in 2023, and "Three body problems" on Netflix in 2024.
Stacy's outstanding performances have not gone unnoticed, with her receiving nominations for a Black British Theatre Award (2020) for Best Recent Graduate and a British Independent Film Award (2022) for Best Ensemble Performance for "Blue Jean".
In 2023, Stacy made her mark as a playwright by writing her debut stage play, "Nice up North", solidifying her position as a multifaceted talent in the entertainment industry.
