Biography

Spencer Jording, a talented actor based in New York, began his career at a remarkably young age, landing his first commercial role at just five years old for Ortega Tacos alongside renowned chef Aaron Sanchez.

As his career progressed, Spencer continued to work in various mediums, including print, theater, and commercials. He had the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed director Malcolm D. Lee on the comedic voting campaign "Call the cops: Lemonade".

In 2017, Spencer made the courageous decision to come out as gender fluid, and began working under the name Allex Jording. This same year, he secured a featured role in Pantene's #beautifulgbtq national pride campaign, and worked alongside American Gods actress Dana Levinson in the premier video of her Visual album "Falling", playing the role of young Dana.

On the stage, Spencer took on the iconic role of Prince Charming in Actor's Technique NY's off-Broadway production of Cinderella. As he continued to act and explore his identity, Spencer came out as Non-Binary in 2019.

He then landed the lead role of Tavi in Brielle Brilliant's "Firstness", and in 2021, he made the life-changing decision to come out as Transgender, adopting his current name, Spencer Jording. His first role after beginning his transition was with Generation+ director Daniel Barnz on a commercial project.

Throughout his journey, Spencer has remained committed to representing the LGBTQIA+ community and bringing mainstream LGBTQIA+ representation to the forefront, particularly for tweens and teens. As an actor and activist, he continues to strive for a more inclusive and accepting world.
