Spencer Curnutt, a multifaceted American artist, was born and reared in Tipton, Indiana. Following his high school graduation, he pursued his passion for the performing arts by enrolling at the esteemed Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, where he majored in Musical Theatre.
During his time at the university, Spencer had the privilege of studying under the guidance of several renowned instructors, including Ted Horel, Luis Perez, Tina Paul, Ray Frewen, Bonnie Shadrake, Christine Adair, Keland Scher, Rebecca Simone, Steve Kruse, and Michael Lasswell.
As a junior, Spencer landed a significant role in the film Trust, directed by the acclaimed David Schwimmer, playing the son of esteemed actors Clive Owen and Catherine Keener. His filmography also includes notable appearances in Henry Gamble's Birthday Party and Warren, in which he portrayed the son of respected actors John Heard and Jean Smart.
Upon completing his education, Spencer has had the opportunity to work with numerous esteemed theater companies across the United States, including Steppenwolf Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Huntington Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre Company, and Laguna Beach Playhouse. His stage credits feature performances opposite celebrated actors Frances Fisher and Gregory Harrison.
In addition to his work in theater, Spencer has also made appearances on popular television shows such as Chicago Fire and Empire, solidifying his versatility as a talented actor and musician.
