Sonny Louis, a talented individual born in Graz, Austria, in the early eighties, was blessed with the legacy of being the son of the renowned Austrian Archaeologist and writer, Dr. Lothar Wanke. At the tender age of five, he relocated to West London, England, with his family, where he was raised alongside his two older brothers.
Growing up, Sonny was fascinated by action and kung fu movies, drawing inspiration from iconic figures such as Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and his fellow countryman, Arnold Schwarzenegger. This fascination sparked a passion for martial arts, which he began to cultivate at the local Korean Karate School under the guidance of Daljit Sohal, who had trained under the esteemed Grand Master Roger Koo.
As Sonny's interest in martial arts deepened, he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in action movies. His first major breakthrough came when he landed the role of a League of Shadows Warrior in the critically acclaimed film, Batman Begins. This experience ignited a burning desire within him to become a stuntman, and he embarked on an intense training regimen to achieve his goal.
After years of rigorous training, Sonny successfully qualified for the British Stunt Register in April 2015, and went on to accrue an impressive list of stunt credits, including Fast & Furious 6, Justice League, and Game of Thrones.
In recent years, Sonny has expanded his horizons by venturing into acting, co-producing the multi-award-winning martial arts short film, "Express Delivery." This project has garnered an astonishing 33 international film festival awards and 15 nominations, with Sonny personally receiving three best supporting actor awards and one nomination for his role in the film.
As Sonny continues to hone his craft, he remains committed to realizing his dream of becoming an action actor.
