Sonia's journey in the world of performance began when she enrolled in Mount Royal University's Theatre Performance program in Calgary, Alberta, during the 2003-2004 academic year. Following her studies, she found herself in Jasper, Alberta, where she co-founded The Jasper Theatre Company. With her new company, she took on the roles of producer and director, bringing several productions to life, including the thought-provoking plays "Beyond Therapy" and the thrilling "Price Check for Murder". After spending time in Jasper, Sonia returned to Calgary in 2013, driven by a strong desire to return to the stage and explore the world of film further. To pursue her new goals, she enrolled in The Company of Rogues' film/TV program. Since then, Sonia has been involved in various film and theatre projects, including "The Dead Mile Stories: X & Deck" produced by 4-13 Studios and "Almost, Maine" presented by Artists' Collective Theatre. As she continues to grow as a performer, Sonia is thrilled to be taking on her first lead role in the upcoming film "Herschell Gordon Lewis'BloodMania", an experience she considers both an honor and an exciting new challenge.
