Her groundbreaking feminist horror anthology, 'Bugs: A Trilogy', took home the coveted Best Director award at the 2018 Women in Horror Film Festival and is currently streaming on various VOD platforms, alongside her horror-comedy found footage feature, 'Housed'.
Since establishing Magic Dog Productions in 2015, Simone has produced an impressive slate of award-winning short narrative fiction films, including 'Good Intentions' (ShortsTV),'The Bet', 'Tartarus', 'Recovery' (ShortsTV),'Book', 'Slaying Song Tonight', and 'No Peeking Cindy', all of which have been self-funded and client-commissioned.
In addition to her narrative work, Simone has also made a name for herself as a documentary filmmaker, taking home Best Director awards for her environmental documentary short, 'It's Good Business', from The Global Impact Film Festival in 2019 and the Environmental Film Festival in 2022.
Furthermore, Simone has demonstrated her versatility by shooting, directing, and editing video content for a range of prominent brands, including American Express, Microsoft, Google, Intel, Dell, MasterCard, Maybelline, and Clé de Peau Beauté, as well as corporate clients. Her impressive resume also includes directing celebrities such as Ted Danson, Dakota Fanning, Ella Ballinska, Diana Silvers, Rosario Dawson, and Venus Williams.
