Sierra Edwards, also known as Sarah, graduated from Metropolitan Arts Institute, where she excelled in performance arts. She has since worked with notable individuals and companies, including The Groundling's, Jennifer Coolidge, Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady, Shana Goldberg-Meehan, Scott Silveri, Ted Cohen, and Andrew Reich.
Sierra was a member of The Actor's Gang, an artistically directed company by Tim Robbins, where she fell in love with their work, particularly the "Prison Project" championed by Tim and Sabra Williams.
When not acting, Sierra enjoys reading, making monkey faces, cooking Mediterranean and Southern comfort food, and identifying as 50% Southern Belle and 50% Rock N' Roll.
Sierra attended Santa Monica College and the University of Southern California, where she worked with notable professors and industry professionals, including Jack Epps Jr., Pam Douglas, Georgia Jeffries, and Aaron Rashaan Thomas.
Her father, Mark Edwards, is a cousin of George Lucas, and Sierra has fond memories of attending Star Wars premieres and meeting George at USC.
In creative writing, Sierra was selected for T.C. Boyle's Advanced Fiction Workshop, Percival Everett's juried prize, and worked with Dana Johnson and Aimee Bender.
Sierra has had several IPs optioned, including SCREWED, DISSENT, SAUDI GIRL REVOLUTION, QUETZALCOATL, HOT MESS, CALLED TO SPEAK, and MOMSTERS.
As a Quaker, Sierra has written web series CALLED TO SPEAK and shorts, including The Lord is With Thee and Mother Lovers.
Sierra is currently shopping MOMSTERS and working on the hard-R comedy, FUCKING MY WAY TO FABULOUS.
She splits her time between Los Angeles and Arizona, where she was born and raised.
