She is perhaps most notably recognized for her captivating portrayals of Luna in the film "Emily the Criminal", Annie in "Thelma", María in Joey Medina's "El Matador", Louise, a lively hot dog vendor, in NBC's "Betty White's Off Their Rockers", and her impressive performance on America's Got Talent, where she showcased her impressive salsa singing skills as Sheila-Sheila of The Jungle, an original character she brought to life.
Born into a family of esteemed artists, Sheila's father, Demetrio Korsi, was a renowned Panamanian poet, journalist, and diplomat, celebrated for his works, including the famous poem "Incidente de Cumbia" and over 20 published books. Her mother, Eloísa Sandoval de Korsi, was also an accomplished writer and Demetrio's historian. Tragically, Sheila's parents and siblings, Jacqueline, Dolly Elena, and Demetrio III, have all passed away.
