Shawn I. Chevalier has been actively involved in the world of theater for over three decades, initially venturing into film and commercial acting in the year 2005. Born in the vibrant city of Queens, New York, Shawn spent her early years residing in Brooklyn and Long Island before making the bold decision to leave at the age of 18 to pursue a career as a Security Police Officer in the United States Air Force.
During her time in the Air Force, Shawn had the opportunity to live in a variety of exciting locations, including England, North Dakota, and Wyoming. In 1997, she made the decision to relocate to the St. Louis region, where she would eventually discover her true passion for acting.
It was in the St. Louis area that Shawn realized her love for acting, and she decided to focus on local productions rather than pursuing the often challenging and competitive world of acting in Los Angeles. Unwilling to compromise on her artistic vision, Shawn was determined to act locally, regardless of whether the roles were paid or unpaid, as long as she had the opportunity to perform.
Throughout her career, Shawn has been recognized for her impressive performances in various projects. She is perhaps best known for her roles as Irene in "Intervention-The Webseries", Victoria in "Cries Unheard", and Elka in the Biography Channel's "My Little Terror". In the theater world, Shawn has also made a name for herself, playing memorable characters such as Lexie in "The Dixie Swim Club", Jeanette in "Last of the Red Hot Lovers", and the demanding role of Violet in "August Osage County".
