Shaun Landry's life journey began in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, where she was born to loving parents Beverly and Malcom Landry. Growing up on the South Side of Chicago, she was surrounded by a close-knit family consisting of her siblings, including brother and sisters Angel, Lisa, Ron, and Alan Landry.
As a young individual, Shaun developed a passion for the performing arts, which led her to attend the prestigious Goodman Theatre School for Youth. Her talent and dedication earned her a spot with Geese Theatre Company, where she worked extensively in prisons across the country and internationally, utilizing drama therapy to make a positive impact.
The 1990s marked a significant turning point in Shaun's career as she was hired by the renowned Second City Chicago National Touring Company. Her impressive skills and creativity also led her to establish the groundbreaking Oui Be Negroes, the original African American Impro/Sketch Comedy Theatre Company in the United States.
Throughout her illustrious career, Shaun has accumulated an impressive list of television and film credits, including numerous industrial and commercial projects. Her notable work includes appearing in Bob Zagone's film "Read You Like a Book" in 2006.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Shaun is married to her loving husband, Hans Summers, with whom she has shared 27 wonderful years together.
