Shannon Beckner is a multifaceted individual, excelling in both the realm of acting and writing. She currently resides in Toronto, where she shares her life with her loving husband, David, and their two tiny tykes, who also happen to be miniature firemen in the making.
Prior to settling in Toronto, Shannon had the opportunity to hone her craft at The Groundlings in Los Angeles, a prestigious institution renowned for its improv and sketch comedy programs. Furthermore, she is a founding member of the long-running Toronto sketch troupe, The Sketchersons, a testament to her dedication and passion for the art form.
Despite her many talents and accomplishments, Shannon has confessed to harboring a deep desire for a canine companion. However, she has come to realize that the rule in her household is to only take care of one defenseless creature at a time, a decision she has ultimately conceded is for the best.
