Shaina Sandoval, a talented actress and dancer, was born on January 10, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Samuel and Lisa Sandoval. At the tender age of one, she relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she currently splits her time between Scottsdale, Arizona, and Dallas.
Shaina's early start in the entertainment industry began at the age of 13, when she landed commercial work in Dallas. Her first film acting role was in the 2006 feature "Rain," followed by appearances in "In Search of the American Dream: El Nacional," "Nico-The Millionaire," and the music video "Saved." She also starred alongside Stephen Baldwin and K Callan in the independent film "Midnight Clear."
With a diverse range of commercial credits to her name, Shaina has worked with prominent brands such as AT&T, Pei Wei, WalMart, Denny's, InventNow.org, and Cowboys & Indians Magazine. As a skilled dancer, she has served as a principal with Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico in Dallas, and has soloed for the National Hispanic Celebration at the Majestic Theatre. She has also guest appeared in "The Ancestors" at the Majestic.
Shaina's dance training has equipped her with proficiency in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip-Hop, having studied with renowned instructors such as the Dance Continuum, Les Jordan at North Central Ballet in Texas, and Cathryn Sullivan.
Currently enrolled at the Herberger Institute for the Arts at Arizona State University, Shaina has also trained with esteemed coaches including Cody Linley, Mitchell Gossett, Theresa Bell, Cathryn Hartt, Suzie Torres, Q4U Productions, Amanda Melby, and Jean Fowler.
Shaina has made appearances on various television networks, including CBS News 11 in Dallas, Univision, Telemundo, Latino Talk TV, and numerous radio stations throughout Texas.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Shaina is the proud sister of two older brothers, Josh and Jeremy.
