Biography

Sean's professional journey began with an unpaid position as a studio floor sweeper, fueled by his passion for the industry. Through his dedication and perseverance, he gradually worked his way up the ranks, ultimately securing his first directing role on the groundbreaking and highly acclaimed television series "Cop Shop," a Crawford Productions' hit that deftly blended genres.

Following this significant milestone, Sean made his screenplay debut with the iconic and enduringly popular "Prisoner: Cell Block H," which continues to captivate audiences worldwide, even in its many years since its initial release.

Throughout his illustrious career, Sean has garnered an impressive four AWGIE Awards from a total of eight nominations, bestowed by the Australian Writers' Guild in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the world of screenwriting.

In addition to these accolades, two of Sean's screenplays have been shortlisted for the prestigious State Premier's Literary Awards in both Queensland and New South Wales, a testament to the high esteem in which his work is held.
