Biography

Sean Perez's illustrious performing career began in 2004 when he joined his high school's Rock Eisteddfod team, setting him on a path of perpetual performance.

He continued to hone his dance skills by specializing in L.A. Style Salsa & Latin American/Ballroom, Commercial JFH & Music Theatre, with renowned instructors Karen Rufus and Diane Smedley.

In 2007, Sean pursued further education at The Western Sydney Institute of TAFE NSW, graduating with a Cert IV in Musical Theatre, which ultimately led him to attend The Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Mackay, QLD.

There, he earned a Bachelor of Music (Specialization in Musical Theatre) in 2010, studying music history, theatre history, musical theatre performance, screen acting, choreography, directing, and technical production.

Sean's educational endeavors culminated in a versatile skill set, preparing him for various roles in the entertainment industry.

In 2012, he landed a role on Network Ten's (Australia) new casting program "I Will Survive", a program inspired by international casting shows such as "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" (UK) and "The search for the new Elle Woods" (USA).

This experience opened the door to the world of drag for Sean, leading to private bookings, small stage productions, and castings in notable productions like "Carlotta" (AUST) and the third season of "Rake" (AUST),where he secured a featured role.
