Sean, a talented individual with a multifaceted career, began his journey by obtaining a degree in Drama from the Tshwane University of Technology. He then ventured into the world of acting, appearing in numerous award-winning stage productions, films, and television series.
In 2005, Sean took the leap and founded his own record label, Mozi Records, where he discovered and produced the multi-platinum-selling artists, Bok van Blerk and Lianie May. Their incredible achievements include the South African Music Award for Top Selling Artist in 2009 to Lianie May and the same award in 2010 to Bok van Blerk. As a songwriter, Sean collaborated on numerous hit songs, including "De La Rey", "Ons Vir Jou Suid-Afrika", "Tyd Om Te Trek", and "Die Kaplyn". The music videos for these songs have won Sean numerous "Music Video of the Year" awards.
Sean then ventured into the world of theatre, producing and co-directing massive hit shows, such as "My Man Se Vrou Se Man", "My Boetie se Sussie se OU", and "As Die Kat Weg Is...". He also co-wrote the epic musicals "Ons Vir Jou", "Shaka Zulu", and "Jock of the Bushveld" with the award-winning playwright, Deon Opperman.
In addition to his work in music and theatre, Sean co-produced, directed, and edited his first feature film, "Platteland", which became the highest-grossing Afrikaans film in history upon its opening weekend. He also co-produced SPUD 2, starring John Cleese. Sean has written and directed several critically acclaimed feature films, including "Blood and Glory" and "'n Man soos my Pa".
In 2016, Sean expanded his production offices to London and Mauritius, and opened new film studios in Mauritius, where he continues to create film and television content. He has several projects in active development.
